VELKÁ ÚPA AND SURROUNDINGS

The Krkonoše mountains are a skiing paradise, both for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing.

The area boasts many groomed slopes, and in the immediate vicinity of Pension Relax, there is the 3-seater chairlift Portášky, which is 1500 meters long.

Pec pod Sněžkou features one of the largest ski areas in the Czech Republic with 11 slopes.

The Ski Area Pec pod Sněžkou is 2 km away – a free ski bus runs from Velká Úpa to the Javor slope.
